We believe in celebrating the important moments in life, the wins. Whether those are big or small. We have a blackboard in our office, where each year we write down our wins and any new doors or opportunities that have opened for us as an organisation. We call these our Roller Door moments. This board is a visual reminder of how far we’ve come and the things we’ve got to be grateful for.

We were part of a Woolworths Television advertisement that highlighted our Doorstop Deliveries program
Partnered with Mission to Seafarers to start a new School Bus Run program that helped increase the school attendance of 20 children who were at risk of child removal
Won an incredible grant from the Newcastle Permanent Charitable Foundation for our Smile & Thrive Dental Program
ABC did a prime-time TV news and Radio story on our services
Chris Jones, our Project Director received a Westfield Local Heroes Award
We had some great support and interest from the Lord Mayor and Local Member Tim Crakanthorp
Started a blog on our website, so we can share more news with you more often!
Awesome new staff members, volunteers and placement students
HUNTERhunter magazine wrote an article on our services
We received some funding to mentor disadvantaged students at Newcastle High School
Despite the ongoing pandemic, 2021 was a year of growth and exciting opportunities for us as we continued to care for our community in the midst of it all.
We can’t wait to see what 2022 has in store for us!
